  1. Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping its a phone issue and not a radio, but its annoying as crap. I lose my radio output randomly after telling google to do something or it reads a message and then I lose radio until i unplug the USB then it almost instantly turns on. Running a note 3 on 5.0 Hopefully soon I'll be testing it on something newer.
  2. One last thing try entering navigation commands verbally, I did this on a trip tonight and the radio quit working and I had to unplug it. Thanks
  3. i appreciate it. It doe it sporadically so I'm trying to figure out whats going. on. I usually leave it on the AA screen for the map, but just trying to see if anybody else is having similar issues. Thanks again.
  4. Trying to figure out if this is a me problem or a glitch. When running AA and listening to the radio, Occasionally I'll do a voice command for a text or phone call then I lose audio from the radio once the command is completed. As soon as I unplug the USB from the phone, The radio works again. It gets pretty annoying to have to reboot AA every time it happens. Just trying to see if anybody else runs into this issue, or knows of a fix. phone is a Note 3
  5. Should not need your phone rooted if your running the stock pioneer app. I'd recomend rooting and running ARU or donate for ARUR
  6. Where you able to get your Uconnect functioning. I can't get the audio prompts No matter what setup I use. I tested a kenwood 991 which was a dog of a unit and a PIA to navigate menues and settings so I stuck with the pioneer. I have no issues with ARUR on either of my phones Note 3 including, but I can't get the Uconnect voice prompts. Any info would be appreciated. If I flash the unit without Uconnect I lose the ability to adjust the Rear Monitors in the HU.
  7. Thanks for the reply. Idatalink is saying that it should be able to output to video sources, one tech at pioneer said yes one said no. So my question becomes, With the external Bluray player and the external AUX is it really outputting or just relaying the audio for that. IE telling it what screen to put what signal. If you get a second take a look at the instructions for the KW as with reguards to the 2 rear screens, do you read it the same that it will out put 2 sources. http://cdncontent2.idatalink.com/corporate/Content/Manuals/RR-CHR/KEN-RR(SR)-CHR01-DS-EN_20140106.pdf
  8. Can't find the answer and pioneer has given me 3 different answers. So we have a dodge caravan with dual RES, So I'm looking at the 8000 or the KW891 both with the Maestro. The KW has instructions how to make it work but can't find out about the pioneer. This is what I'm looking to do. The van has a a bluray player, and a DVD player in the head unit along with an AUX panel. The 2 RES screens can play any of the 3 at one time so I can blu ray on RES 1 and on RES 2 I can use an xbox or vice versa, or use the HU DVD player as the source. Anybody know if this is possible with the
