I assume that a Z1 can be upgraded to Z2 with newer mapping and POI on the NAV?

Sorry but I have tried to search to find out the diff. I am considering eaither a Z1, Z2 or D3. Many thanks in advance.

That job is way over my head. Would love to see someone that did the job with the '03 bezel. I have a friend that came over today with his '03 Denali and we switched his bezel for mine to see how it would work. My A/C controls would need to be moved down and I don't know what that would do to the top of it (if there would then be a gap at the top of A/C controls). The sides of the A/C control are blocked just a bit, but I can live with that. I think I would need that mounting bracket stuff out of an '03 as well. I will have to do more measuring.

I have the dash apart and there appears to be enough room behind the radio/AC bezel, but before I spend the $ on the system I wanted to ask if this has been done. Trimming of the bezel will be required, but it is not in the best condition to start with. Many thanks in advance
