  1. Hi, I have just download the East Disk, and the West Disk. I upgraded my Avic D3 using the West Disk, and it appeared to have taken the update fine. After that, there was a few problems, and I decided to reset my Avic D3. Now, when I put in the dvd, it just has the startup logo. But, you can access radio, bluetooth, etc. without a problem. It has started to restart itself with the West Disk in now. I tried going back to the old 2007 original discs, and it says inappropriate disc. 3. Hi, I have a 2005 chevrolet cobalt ls, after a few problems occurring after the avic d3 install, everything seems to have been corrected, except I am using a SWI-PS Switch Module for my steering wheel audio controls. The steering wheel controls mainly source, mute, and volume down work when the car is turned onto ACC, but if you start the car, you lose those functions. Seek, Band, Presets, and Volume up work only when the car is started. Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks in advance, Drunknmunkyâ„¢

  5. Hi, I have a 2005 cobalt ls, recently got the avic d3 installed professionally. But, I notice that the avic d3 does not seem to switch off when you shut down the car. You need to go to go Menu > Off (ie: to turn off nav/radio, etc.), then Menu > Screen Off. But, you can still hear the fan from the d3, and the lights are still illuminated. I have searched the forums, and find a lot of people have the same issue. However, there's been a few that it looks like their avic d3's go off. Is this normal? Will it be using up the battery (ie: anything to worry about)? Is there anything that ca
