I recently installed a NEX8000 in my 2008 Pontiac Torrent. Love the system, the NAV system is one of the best I have seen. CarPlay, well..... it very much feels like an alpha. Thankfully when it decides to freak out falling back to bluetooth only takes a few button presses.
I have a few intermittent issues, which I am thinking are not caused by the NEX itself but the interface units.
Issue #1 - Steering wheel vol up/down works fine every time, however next/prev track work only sometimes. Often will work if I press a vol button first.
