one thing that hasn't been mentioned in the d3's favor is that it has the customizable colors to match your car's interior. I was about to pull the trigger on the kenwood but the buttons always light up blue and my car's interior lights up red. that's a deal breaker to me.

thanks for clearing that up. one other question. is the avic-d3 hd radio ready or is there a receiver that is needed from pioneer?

are the only tuners that work with the avic-d3 to have touchscreen controls the gex-p5700tv and the gex-p6400tv? also, what's the difference between these two? thanks in advance.
