  1. What type of cable are you using to connect your laptop to the deck? USB A to A? Or other? Joe M.
  2. Hi Don, From the Nav Screen, tap the Settings icon (the one just above the Phone icon in the lower right-hand corner. After the Settings Menu opens, tap the icon in the lower right-hand corner (on the 6000NEX, it's to the right of the right arrow). On the 6000 there are two selections: Reset All Settings Factory Reset I selected "Factory Reset" and as I said earlier, that resolved the issues I was having after the upgrade to v1.08. Could you provide a link to the "Navitools" software. I searched using that term and could only find software for CADD products. Thanks, Joe M
  3. Thanks for responding. That is true, but I stated in my initial post that the problem started after i upgraded to v1.08 firmware. I used the reset button on the front panel and apparently it doesn't clear everything, i.e., routes and more. I kept poking around in Settings and "DID" find a reset that cleared everything. Once I went through the "full" initialization the Nav Screen Speed Limit is now displaying correctly. What a PITA, thanks Pioneer! NOT! Joe M. Sahuarita, AZ
  4. I installed a 6000NEX in my truck in September, 2014. At that time the firmware was at v1.03. In early November, 2014 I flashed the unit to v1.08. Since that time the Speed Limit displays 50 MPH when the actual speed limit is 65, 75, even 80 (Texas) MPH. I had to turn off the audio reminder as it was non-stop "You're exceeding the speed limit" , blah, blah, blah. City driving yields a 40 or 45 MPH on the Nav Screen, no matter what the posted limit is. With the v1.03 firmware, the "posted speed limit" was pretty much what the Nav Screen displayed.
