  1. Ive had as issue with my D2 for some time now dealing with the red locational arrow. It will constantly be spinning. Whether Im stopped, driving on the freeway, etc, it will always be circling the location im in. It has been very frustrating because it causes the unit to have a hard time locating where I am because it thinks my car is going in all directions. The strangest thing is that when I reset the learning status, the nav location suddenly becomes right on. It will stay that way for about a day and then it will revert back to its spinning ways. Its not an antenna issue because the na
  2. So, I think Ive narrowed down my nav accuracy problems to something with the learning status. Whenever I reset the learning status, the nav accuracy is perfect. After the system becomes initialized, it starts getting worse and worse. Usually after a few days, I need to reset the status again. My question is how can I shut off the learning status? It seems to me the system works better when the learning status is at 0. Thanks.
  3. I think you may be onto something here. My unit performs great immediately after I reset the learning status. Over the next couple of days it gets worse and worse. Im getting to where now I reset it practically 3 times a week. Its quite annoying but Im not sure what else to do.
  4. The VSS wire is currently not hooked up, but when it was there was no difference. It recorded a speed pulse so Im pretty sure it was connected correctly. I usually have at least 1 bar of reception with the full amount of satellites. The Connection Status window says the reverse wire is hooked up. The dash is slightly curved but that shouldn't matter. This is not a case of the arrow being a little off. The arrow will spin all the way around very slowly. Thanks for your help!
  5. the reception is usually ok. The antenna was mounted on the windshield with the metal piece that was given.
  6. So Ive had my D2 for about 4 months now. Pretty much since I bought it, Ive had trouble with the nav's location. The biggest problem is that sometimes (about 30% of the time) the arrow will go completely off into space. I think the problem has to do with a constant rotation that the unit does. For example, if I'm sitting at a stop light, the arrow will continue to rotate around and do a complete 360 over the course of a minute. So when I'm driving, it also rotates and causes the unit to become disoriented. Has anyone experienced this problem? I have reset the calibration numerous time
