So the problem I'm having is whenever I skip a song forward the track skips reverse. It doesn't do it all the time but probable about 70% of the time.

 

Avic 7000

Just got my 7000 back from Pioneer today. Removed the factory in my Toyota Tundra and hooked up the Pioneer. Turned the key and nothing. I double checked to see that all the cables were connected but couldn't find out what the problem was. Any help here?

Can someone help me with the 7000 image. US version please. Software error on my unit!

I rarely use my navigation as well. Google is up to date and far superior.

All my album art appears on my 7000. I just went online and downloaded a tagging application.

You can click "add to drive", then login to your google drive and download the folder in one swoop

I'll try that then. Has anyone had success installing?

So with Google drive your have to download every file in each folder?

I got the free 2015 q3 latest map guarantee. Looks about the same but the graphical representation of the maps look a lot better, more life like.

How did u get a free 2015 q3 update. I just updated my 7000 and it's dated Jul 2014

You guys with that error screen. It has to be sent back to Pioneer to be fixed. Hopefully your under warranty.

Just asking cause it seems like the 7000 model always has errors?

Seems the 7000 has the most problems with updates. Or going from 1.08 to 1.11. Not sure if skipping the 1.10 update would matter?

I had that software issue with the last update. Actually a few of us with the 7000 model had that error.

Nick what model NEX did you have?

Omg how I hate this company right now. Did everything I suppose to do and SOFTWARE ERROR ? Seriously wtf Pioneer, your original accessories don't even work for this unit and now this. Now I have to spend half day in some shop that will know probably less about this issue than me. Why did I try to update this shit I knew it would end up like this.

That's what happens to me on the last update. Kinda makes me just wanna stick with what I have now. I ended up sending mine off to Pioneer. Took 3 weeks to get back. It was also a 7000 NEX. I'm more interested in map updates then AvicSync.

So AvicSync only offers weather, traffic and parking info?

I installed it yesterday on my 7000 with no problems so far. After the install I only had a minute or 2 to connect to the AVICSYNC app and play with it, so I don't have enough info to leave a useful comment yet. Looking forward to trying it out tonight.

It took me well over an hour to download it. I just put it on an USB stick but yet to install.

Yeah....kinda iffy from the last update. I bricked my unit and had to send it in. I'll pay much attention to detail this time. It states parking brake must be on and plugged into USB port one. I didn't even check with port and didn't apply the parking brake last time.

Question for people who have updated their devices. Can I use a USB stick to udate versus a card? Also can I go from firmware 1.08 straight to 1.11?

Avicsync is finally here in the U.S. Got the email from Pioneer about the update.
