  1. Your setup looks great. I have the perfect spot and on my Mercedes. There is a huge Center Channel Speaker in the middle of my dash that is not utilized because I did not go with the upgraded audio. How is your reception on GPS and XM? My positioning will be low but the antenna's will be exposed through the plastic grill. How come everyone says you need to put them on the outside. I see more and more people mounting inside car? Nice install
  2. Any advice on stealth mounting of XM and GPS antenna would be appreciated. I was thinking 1) Inside Windshield behind rearview mirror for GPS and XM 2) Under Vent Cowls on Hood 3) Behind the Front Grill What are the downfalls of these Has anyone attempted these? I have a 2007 Mercedes C-Class and I would really like to not have any visible antenns
  3. Love the car, however the Electronics/Stereos in German cars have never been good. The AVIC-D3 is pretty close to dash look especially becase I can change illumination All I am loosing is the radio display in the center of the dash and steering wheel controls. I can have this unit installed with IPODBLUETOOTH, XM AND SIRIUS, with JL 5/500 for just about what it would cost alone for Sirius. $1500 to put factory Sirius in $3000 to put factory phone in $850 to put IPOD
  4. I have the old bodstyle, still an option on either 07 or 08. Nav is not near as good as this and is $2250, plus dealers rarely order in C Class
  5. itching to make the purchase, so I am hoping someone answers soon
  6. Curious to the following: 1) Can I hook up both SIRIUS and XM? I like the traffic feature of XM but can't be without Howard Stern and other unedited content of Sirius? Do I need to by the AV adapter? 2)If I can get, XM, Sirius? Does that mean I am going to have three antennas? I have an 07 Mercedes, so two will be fine, but I am curious about the placement of the third. 3)How well does the Bluetooth work with Blackberry's? I was going to go with Alpine, but after reading the horrible reviews the D-3 is better all around. I have the Blackberry Curve 8300
