I guess i'm just not sure how the ground could cause that noise.... I'm tied into the original ground that the stock stereo uses. I guess i could find another place and put in a new ground...

Hey guys, I tried searching around, but couldn't find anyone that sounded like they had this specific problem... I just installed my f90bt, and now when I start to drive, I immediately get a small buzz sound... The faster I go, the louder it gets. Now, I did hook up my parking break line wrong. I grounded it, which (as I've read on the forum) doesn't work. So i get a message saying it is improperly connected etc. Would that be the cause of the sound? I just want to make sure I know what all I need to fix before I tear everything apart again. Thanks for any advice.

I just purchased an f90bt, installed it with the Scosche factory adapter unit... Well, the scosche unit flashes a green light, but the F90BT doesn't power up at all. I have confirmed the solid yellow line has power, and the ground is good. Shouldn't that be enough to get the unit to atleast power up? Or could another cable be causing it not to power up? Is it possible my unit was DOA? Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it matters, i'm installing in a 2003 4runner ltd.

I'm in for one, pending a final price.
