All is good. Found out it was the metra steering wheel interface. For the Bluetooth I just did a reset on it and it works fine now.

I do have the speed wire connected to the truck. Do you think that might be causing it? I will test it out in a minute. Possibly lowing the volume at a certain speed. Also the preset dials(favorites) are not working. I can't get any contacts to save to it. I push the favorite icon next to the contact and it beeps and lights up for a split second but does not save. Anyone else have this problem?

It doesn't mute completely just lowers the volume a decent amount.

No I left that wire disconnected. Should it be connected to something?

Hey guys, I installed an Nex 8000 and it's awesome. The only thing I can't figure out is how to turn off the auto mute which happens only at start up about 5 seconds after booting up. I did install a ground loop bypass. That's the only thing I could think of that might cause that? Any of you guys have this on yours? Thanks, Derek
