I really really hope someone is around to help me out.

I have the AVIC-F90BT in Canada.

 

Stupid thing got stuck in the reboot loop two weeks ago and it's driving me crazy.  I've been trying to find someone I can pay to fix it but the shops I've called have said that is the kiss of death and I have to buy a new navi.

 

Can anyone help me out here?

I am not super techy so I don't understand all of what is going on.  What files do I need to download?

Hi, the music video seem to be playing fine but sometime the unit would freeze and reboot itself.

i am running the mp4 off a SD card... my unit is bypass for video playback while driving...

it would even do this when my car isn't running while just watching the vid in park.. is there a glitch

or something im forgetting to do? or have anyone else experiencing this????

hmmm could try it. want me to check my files on my deck?

that link i sent you has a blue tooth file under the updates portion.

try and reinstall the main firmware?. in the link i sent you there is a bluetooth file maybe it can help?. if you can open up your deck in WinCE via the test file and look around for a bluetooth folder and take a picture of the contents i'll compare it to my files on my deck and we can go from there.

I tried that and I got an error of "Access is denied. WriteToDisk"

 what the hell did you try and do? post pictures and i'll check every day to try and help you out

the password is asked on the deck or your pc?

usually there is two power points in a deck. one that is always on for remebering stuff and one for when the car turns on you need to have both power cords hooked up. i think its called accessory. worst case look up a wiring diagram
