A usb and a working version of android auto. Bottom line is that you are stuck waiting like the rest of us. Best excuse I've heard is pioneer started selling units before the app was fully vetted
Pioneer of America swears that they have someone who has a working S5 on Verizon.they are supposed to get back to me, if they have a solution I'll post it when I get it.
Pioneer is about to release a firmware update to fix the issues with incompatible devices, at this time only the Nexus phones work 100%"
That explains a lot, it's more than the microphone button not working some little details like deleting navigation destinations would be nice.
Bluetooth and usb port 2 are being used. It seems pioneer failed to test with more than 1 phone.
S5 with a 4100, I can get the android auto to work but the microphone icon won't work so I can't use any of the voice commands. I've updated the os on the phone ,used s oem cord and reset the stereo. No luck, any ideas?
