I bought the gmos harness at first but it didnt work, so i took it back to where i got it and they tested it and it was defected so they sold me the p.a.c. one, thats what i have.... i have the sla on +4 and the loudness all the way up, there is no adjustments on the harness for any levels. it has wire hook up not rca hook up, should i get a different harness, i dont want to have to buy new high speakers and another amp

thats what it was i swear i had both av1 and 2 when i tried it the first time but i guess i didnt.. i am getting an ipod today though so ill get the ipod cable also. thanx for replies

After looking into it more i see your right, i didnt realize that the actual ipod plug was on the back. none of the buttons at the bottom of the screen still work though there still gray (AUX-1", "AUX-2", "EXT-1" and "EXT-2")

So you cant just hook up any mp3 player to the mini jack?? i tried pluging my girlfriends samsung mp3 player with a mini jack cable to the min jack on the front and turned the av2 imput on and the "ipod" icon stays gray and wont let me select it. do i have to go buy an ipod and a pioneer cable to play mp3s??
