In case anyone else is looking into this issue, Pandora and Android Auto will not function at the same time. It shows that Pandora should be available phone is connected and android auto in settings and the manual. Pandora is not available as an option. It will however work if you unplug your phone. I contacted Pioneer support and they were surprised to find out the same thing. Hopefully an update will fix it. Please call and complain so they resolve this issue.

Mine worked for a minute then froze. Now it doesn't recognize the phone other than a usb connection. Sprint note 3 nex4100.

I have the 4100 and Sprint note 3. I am having the exact same problem. Using the micro bypass so i get video all the time. This is frustrating. Waited so long to get this unit and android 5. Tried several cables. It wouldn't recognize my wifes htc m8 either.
