  1. Yeah, I just left the face on the past week and it hasn't happened since. Took off the face for a minute today... had to pull fuse. Now I'm getting another problem with Android Auto... anyone seen this? https://www.dropbox.com/s/15uzlmiy472l3hb/20150430_081039.jpg?dl=0 Basically, everything is working fine, but there are numbers overlayed across the entire screen in Android Auto.
  2. Google Maps works really well with Android Auto, you can pinch and zoom and all that just like on your phone. You can push the mic button and tell it to navigate you to wherever and it does so automatically. Spotify only has basic functionality. You can play, pause, forward and backward, but you can't change albums/artist/playlist. If you aren't using Android Auto you can do this on your phone, but your just displays a black screen with "Android Auto" on it with using Android Auto so I'm not sure how you change album/artist/playlist when using it. It was just playing what was in my "Starred" p
  3. I had to play around with it a bit but I got it to work on my Note 3. There were 2 different "instances" of Android Auto when I first plugged my phone in: One that opened when I opened the app on my phone and one that pops up when I plug phone into stereo. The one that talks about deleting all other cars isn't the one you need. I restarted my phone, then plugged it into stereo, the stereo tells you to look at phone when it is safe and legal to do so, then your phone should have an instance off Android Auto that has you going through different screens and tres to get you to sign up for some tri
  4. You just use a normal USB cord in the USB2 slot to use Android Auto (USB1 is for Carplay). You shouldn't be using any other cables (HDMI, etc) for Android Auto. Just plug the USB directly into USB2 and it should start up. If that doesn't work, maybe try a nor USB cord instead of the USB 3.0. I use a cheap $5 USB cord I got from Fry's, but I never tried with the Samsung's USB 3.0.
  5. Got install done at place that had great yelp reviews, but they were all wrong... Radio worked fine for about 8 hours after I had it installed. That night when I got in my car it didn't power on at all. The next day I pulled everything out and checked the wire connections. Here I noticed they had clipped the wires I didn't need and taped them together. Also, a couple of loose wires on the stereo harness (the purple reverse gear wire and yellow mute wire) that weren't blocked off. I didn't have anything on hand to fix it at the time so I put everything back in and it worked fine... for abou
