Ok. I that case, how can I get mirror link to work? Or if it wont, is there an alternative way to mirror my phones screen on the dash?

When connecting with the USB it keeps saying incompatible device. Bluetooth works fine, but it doesn't allow you to access the app mode that way

I have been trying to figure out how to connect my Galaxy Note 3 to the app mode on my Pioneer Avic5100NEX. There is no HDMI slot on this NEX model. Anyone know how to do it?
