Hi I have the european version of Z1. The HD1BT. Is it possible for me to unlock the HDD without deleting tha data, and then transfer music directly to the drive in Windows Xp? Thanks

Does the Z2 upgrade work on ad HD1BT? European version? Are the maps different in the image-file?

Hi everybody First of all, I think it's really cool that people have put so much time into helping others with hacking the Z1. Well, I'm from Denmark and not from the U.S.A as many of you, so my english is not that well as yours I have the European version of the Z1, called "AVIC-HD1BT". Has anyone tried upgrading this one by following the guide "Z1 to Z2"? And if yes, does anyone have the heart to help a guy like me, to fix the HD1BT to a HD3BT? I am an medium-advanced PC-user (mainly hardware), so I don't think that their'll be any problems. But if there is, would anyone help

Well, I think Iv'e read some things about harddisk-mod or something? What's that? Any way that you can update some firmware, so that I can download mp3 to the navi-unit instead of converting-burning-downloading? Is there ANYTHING at all I can change? Hello I'm very confused about the terms used in the threads (I'm from Denmark). I have - as far as I can tell - HD1BT which is the same as Z1 or what? Now, my HD1BT has never been updated/upgraded. Is there any way to upgrade with a illegal copy??? Is there any hacks, mods and so on that I can use? I'm sorry if this question has been asked a thousand times, but I can't figure out, what I can use from the sticky-threads.
