  1. I figured this would be their response. Upon further inspection of the Maestro site it looks like none of the Pioneer units support the digital fader. However, both Kenwood and Alpine do support it. Unfortunately I think I may just return this lovely unit because not having fade functionality really stinks for the money. Thanks for the update. I received a generic response with no meat to it. My reply to that message has gone unanswered.
  2. I just submitted a message through their website too. I'll post back if I hear anything. It is frustrating to see potential bug fixes for other models while ours sits stagnat. Actually it looks like all of the Android Auto models have not been updated. I'm still within the return window and I'm debating on sending it back to Crutchfield until this gets resolved.
  3. Ugh. I just purchased this unit with a Maestro as well and I'm having the exact same problem. It's driving me nuts. I called Crutchfield and they were stumped. I've tried two units and they both exhibited the same problem. You're probably right that it's a firmware issue and Pioneer needs to fix it, but what are the chances they never fix it?
