  1. Fixed! This turned out to be an install problem. When I rewired my external amplifier a few weeks back I must have switched the front and rear rcas. Crossover settings on the amp were filtering out voice commands, Siri, etc.
  2. Having the same issue myself. Did you ever get to the bottom of it?
  3. You must first connect your sd card or usb drive to the unit and run synctool from the navigation settings menu. This will format the memory card/usb drive and toolbox will recognise the device and offer any free updates you are entitled to. If available you will be prompted to download to your card following which you'll need to plug it into the radio and run synctool again to apply the update(s)
  4. Found this forum as also experiencing problems with Pioneer AVIC-F77DAB (Euro equivalent of 8100 NEX I believe) along with Siri, Carplay and Bluetooth on an iphone 6s running 9.1. Looks like this will be a good resource for sharing information and hopefully finding a solution to the issues I'm experiencing. Previously was using a 5s that worked fairly well with Carplay on the Pio. I'm not sure which update broke it or if I have a hardware issue with the Pioneer. I suspect a combination of both at present. I say this because apart from Carplay not working as well as it did I have lost navig
