granulator

I had my AVIC-N3 installed this last week and whenever I start to accelerate (I will be going around 20mph) the Avic says I am going 50-60mph. After driving at highway speeds for about a minute it levels out and become more accurate. Do I have to wait for the 3d setup to finish before it becomes more accurate?
