I have installed a AVIC N4 in a 2003 Audi A4 Cabriolet that had the Bose factory system without navigation. All went well except I have a thump from the factory AMP when I turn the unit off and on. I have read through the old post on this forum and others but have not been able to resolve my issue.
Here is what I have done. I reinstalled the factory head unit and verified that it was outputting 12v to the amp turn on lead. I have also disconnected the amp turn on lead powered on the Avic waited a few second and reconnected the AMP turn on lead. After doing this I do not get the thump
