The tech here at a local shop in Arlington, Va. figured it out finally. He got a call from his BMW tech friend and finally located the wire. It is there just in case you need to know. It is there!!!!!! No need for a CAN Bus. I was almost ready to purchase one and extend my time getting my Z2 installed but the BMW guy saved the day! FYI!

Help! I'm at the shop now trying to get my radio reinstalled. We can find the VSS...... The AVIC Z2 GPS is just not as accurate without it. Can someone tell me where it's located.
