I recently had an NEX 8100 professionally installed and constantly receive the error message: I was told "this is normal" but I'm beginning to have my doubts after they told me that my Daystar KU80012 rocker switches, that every Jeep owner on the planet uses by the way..., have fundamental design flaws. Does anyone else see this on every startup?

I've had similar issues with a newly installed NEX 8100. The screen will go black and all control is lost. I've also had issues where the audio stops working forcing me to pull over and restart the ignition. I'm not sure if it's an installation issue or an issue with the head unit itself but I'd sure like more feedback from others experience in this area.
