  1. I finally found the real only place is on the ECM, mounted on the drivers side of engine block, there are 2 connectors, it is the forward connector, pin 11 (2nd row from top, 1st wire), which is green and yellow wire, at least it is on the 2005. Search google for ECM connector pinout. I did not connect it, just didn't want to figure out going through from engine compartment to cab. Could not find any info about any available VSS in cab. BTW, I have 05 Ram 2500 crew cab, diesel. Got wiriing diagrams. Will attach pic of that C2 diagram. If you find somplace in cab, please post. Though I did no
  2. Yes, there is not SD Card slot, you use USB1
  3. I just updated my 6100 via USB flashdrive, I assume you've downloaded the pdf from pioneer and followed the directions? Firstly downloading to pc, format card or stick to FAT32, copy to root directory? Mine updated to v1.03 perfectly
  4. I have an AVIC-6100NEX installed myself, grounded parking brake wire. Once past setup, tried to initiate bypass via AV mode off, go to bottom left quadrant per directions. I repeated and repeated, moving slightly. Message never came up. Firmware was 1.01. I flashed/updated Firmware to 1.03 & updated maps. Repeated attempt to bypass. Will not happen. I disconnected parking brake grounding. Still does not bypass. Has the X100NEX update disabled this bypass? I simply cannot get it to work. I am sure I'm in correct screen, lower left quadrant, 1/2 inch in & up. dyauch@aol.com
