nevermind.. i fixed my problem

i think i'm having a similar problem.. i bought a headphone to rca cable for my zune so i could plug it into the inputs at the back of the unit but when i try to use it i get perfect sound quality but stripes of what should be displayed moving quickly up the screen. does this sound like something the ground loop isolaters would fix and if so where do i get them/how do i use them?

so i took out my whole headunit and cut into the rubber insulation around the red and yellow wires on the headunit (not on my adapter) and attached a ground to the braided wire of each one at a time but neither helped the video. I did this with my zune and the sound quality was great but the video was still all stripes of what should have been displayed.. i tried touching the two male ends together like you said using the video 2 input on the front of the unit and that did nothing so the problem is with both inputs... any other ideas guys? i managed to fix everything else with this that bestb
