Hello again, I got my BJII to work with the Bluetooth module and it works great! How does the transfer of the phonebook work? I click phonebook transfer and it goes to a blank screen and my phone lights up but nothing is transferred. any ideas? Chris

There are various ways (special dvds or even hardware devices) I see there are all kinds of color settings for it, out of the box the picture looks very pixelated and washed out.

Hello fellow AVIC Testers! I just got my D3 installed and running great! I did notice last night that the DVD quality was so so at best. Has anyone calibrated there DVD player and care to share what the settings you ended up with for the best picture? Thanks again!

I saw something posted in another forum about using the ipod cable from your HU to plug into Apple's "Universal Dock" (It has an encryption chip in it) then plug you ipod into that. Has anyone tried this? In the other forums people where able to watch tv using this method.

HiFi - yep it is... AHH HA - Seems the fuse I replaced the existing one with was bad, ran to rat shack and got a new one and wha la, it powers right up THANKS!!

Ok so I got my AVIC-D3 installed and took it out to do the bypass. Bypass was successful and not for some reason the sirius is not showing up in the menu. Could the unit of gone bad in just 2 days?

May I ask where you grounded your cable at? I cant figure out where to ground mine

ARGGG loks like I got my SWI-CAN (REV 1.4.10a) and it is NOT compatiable with VW!!!! Is there a way to update the REV so it will work with the VW? Or should I just click the arrow to number 3 and let her roll?

Ok so I guess I am missing a few things I thought where included in the box (This is for an 03 Passat) So far I need to get: - Wiring Harness Do I also need an antenna adapter? How about this VSS thing people keep mentioning? Thanks!

HiFiSI - Thanks for the information! I went ahead and ordered the cage mount. Do I need an extra wiring harness for this to work in my passat or will the one thats included work? Thanks
