1. i believe that it is a 2amp fuse
2. Yes, this has happened before. I now cut the fuse holder off, and make my own fuse holder using atc fuses. If you don't have a fuse holder, just get 2 insulated female spades

depending on the vehicle, you may need to use a relay on the GMOS module for your acc

just got free xmp3 unit, it is much nicer than my old inno. recomended
-
the xm unit is made by pioneer, the sirius one is not. The sb10 is made by pioneer, but you still need a dei tuner...and it will soon be an audiovox tuner
-
had a few customer buy one, and no complaints yet
Hey guys http://www.the12volt.com and rosta.com both tell me different colors for my vss wire its on a 1999 ford escort lx, near the pcm there is a wire that is black and has VSS F2 writen on it. Does anyone know what is the right color? confused as hell at this point :?: I just want my navi to work.
White/Black wire located at the power distribution box. Power distribution box is located near the driver's fender in a single wire plug. -
Brown wire located at the ECM on the passenger side of the motor.

bypass the ifninity amp.
go to the amp, and you should she 2 harnes plugged into it. one is input, one is output. test your wires, and run a jumper wire from the 1 harness to the other.
-
the parrot LS are much nicer than the parrots in the Fseries,or the cd-btb200
you made a good choice
-
no, not really a pain, but just extra work to cut those wires and reconnect them.....but most of my customers don't wan't to pay for those extra parrot parts to make them plug and play. Which is also the reason I charge about $160.00 to install them
-
that is a standard VW harness. I think your local installer is a moron
-
i was right, this won't work with the dseries
last sentance
-
i don't think they work with any pio navi systems
-
Parrot uses a standard ISO plug interface, unfortunately most vehicles sold in America do not use those plugs.
QuickConnectProducts has a harness for you.
150 bucks? Wow.. Does any one know what that black box does. I am thinking it is a high to low convertor of some sort. Maybe I can put together a harness for a lot cheaper than that.
the black "box" is a relay.
and the harness is basically so you don't have to cut your factory wires, it makes it plug and play

i hate installing parrots
if I remember correctly, the bose amp is on the left hand side of the trunk. Just wire the parrot on the speaker out side of the bose amp. I just did one of these the other day, so double check my wiring
Speaker plugs
RR+ white
RR- gray

if you need the wiring for the G35, i can get it when i go back to work saturday for you

i was selling it with the unit, blue too\th adp, and ipod cable for $450.00
but I just actually sold it about 2 hours ago for $425. I got it pretty cheap so its not too bad.
On the other board, i was getting offers of $200-$300 which is why I posted this thread.
Thanks

siri antennas are junk (although the newer ones are better) most likely it is your antenna

I am selling one of my D3 on a different board, and I keep getting low balled. What is a good D3 with cd-btb200 worth?
thanks
Jimmy
btw, I am selling on corvetteforum.com not here

as for sirius, what are you going to use? plug and play,or direct? if it is direct, you will need either the pnrsir1 or 2.....or a univeral tuner and the cdsb10
-
The new pioneer decks, and the Fseries decks have a ferrite on the usb portion of the deck.
And both of my d3's, I put a ferrite on the cord and I don't have the noise.

Dear Valued Pioneer Dealer or Distributor:
Because you are a valued Pioneer partner, we wanted to clarify our global restructuring announcement and dispel any rumors or speculation.
Global Restructuring
On February 12, 2009, Pioneer announced a global restructuring that will result in 6,000 permanent and 4,000 temporary job losses worldwide. We will do everything we can to maintain consistent and smooth service during this transition. The employee reductions will affect support staff in the field, so we ask that you hold on contacting your local sales representatives for now. The Pioneer Zone Director for your area will contact you by February 18 to clarify any changes in your sales or support staff.
We have long prided ourselves on the strength of our dealer network and the speed with which we can react to your needs. Our dealers will continue to be our priority as Pioneer forges ahead through this difficult time.
Product Category Changes
Pioneer also announced it will withdraw from the display business by March 2010. While this has been a celebrated category for many years, the display business is not economically viable at this time. Pioneer displays are currently available at our retail partners and the company plans to continue supporting service needs, replacement parts and warranties. As painful as these changes are to the company, they are necessary to achieve a higher degree of operational efficiency in the current difficult business environment.
Pioneer's home electronics display business remains the only category affected by the global restructuring. The company anticipates an otherwise normal rollout as planned of in-car entertainment products including navigation devices, in-dash entertainment, single CD players, amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers.
Looking to the future in the car electronics business, Pioneer expects growing demand for higher levels of environmental performance and energy efficiency in the automotive field. Pioneer will shift internal resources to leverage its market position and technological power in this category.
Commitment to the 12-Volt Industry
Pioneer remains absolutely committed to the 12-Volt industry and will continue its aggressive support of the 12-Volt Awareness Initiative, working with key industry manufacturers, retailers and associations to expand awareness of and create demand for our products. Even with the current economic conditions and all-time low consumer confidence, the acting board continues to move aggressively forward, finalizing our consumer value proposition and strategy to emerge from the recession ready to launch with a strong plan. We're also working on interim strategies that can impact the 2009 selling season.
As a highly-regarded specialist in audio and video for both in-car and home theater entertainment, Pioneer will always work to seize a leadership position in its current and future product categories.
Thank you for your continued support and please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Kenji "Sam" Murai
Executive Vice President, Pioneer Electronics (USA)

according to MECP, you shouldn't fix the antenna, you should replace it. Yes it can be done, but you are going to lose effectiveness of the antenna. Just buy a new one.
