Gray Black wire located at the radio harness pin 9
-
do you plan on keeping onstar? If not, don't worry about it
-
go to the bulb and test the wires with your DMM, when in reverse it will show 12v.

Green or Green/White at the ECM located on the driver front side of the shock tower, black plug pin#38 or at the Speedometer pin#2

i would get a new motorla end, and put the end on where you cut it. Then run an antenna extension from the cut to the deck. You will probably get too much static trying to fix it where it was cut
-
i have this in my corvette, and it works fine
-
-
yes, it "will" work, but you will have to modify the end of the GM antenna to make it "fit" on the siri unit.
-
sorry, can you move this to D-series general and troubleshooting
-
have you upgraded the software on the ipod?
-
i had a 2.5x (same thing, no R/S though) and it did to me a few times. The first time, I reporgramed it. To reprogram it, I deleted it out of the system, and then did the auto learn sequence, and never had a problem again
The second time, I replaced the remote as I think I broke it.

also, with the vu, when I hit transfer phonebook, it disconnects the phone from the Cd-btb200, and I have to remove the phones battery before it will pair again with the D3
-
btw, I have tried a Razor, 2 different blackberrys and now a LG Vu
-
I have now tried 4 phones, and none of them transfer my phone book with cd-btb 200. Does anyone know of any phones that it does this?
thanks,
Jimmy

wasn't the GMOS06 on send back a few months ago? meaning all interfaces were not working properly, and were sent back to metra
-
yes, it is on a piece of metal about 6 inches from the siri antenna. I am gonna disconnect the sirius for now, and see if that helps.
do you think I should reset the unit as well?
-
since when? In my last car, i had an N2 with the gps right next to the sirius antenna for months before i removed it. I always had full gps bars
-
the siri tuner only pulls 1amp. No problem with wiring it with your D3
-
So i just installed my D3 into an 08 corvette. I hooked up the VSS wire, (and in the calibration screen) in moves and beeps as the speed increases/decreases.
Does this mean that the VSS is hooked up correctly?
Also, it doesn't matter where I put the gps antenna on this car, I can not get better than 2 orange/green satalitte things lit up. This is wierd to me because i have the gps antenna right next to the sirius antenna (which are know pieces of junk)
I have installed a few for other customers cars in the past, and I never had problems with the GPS in this area. But for some reason in this car, i can not get a good signal. Do you think I may have a bad antenna? Speaking of the antenna, it is in a circle (not bunched up, or tightly zip tied)
Also, I am using a Scosche Kit, and the bolts are tight, but every once and a while, I am getting the excessive vibration, any cures for this?
thanks
