I have the pioneer avh p5700dvd...even when i enter the service menu i can not reformat the navi. i even have the expensive remote to control the unit in the service menu

I have the AVIC-80DVD. The only problem is that I only got CNDV-40M disc with it. The disc did not fully install. Now it shows an error on the screen saying this is not the correct disc. I searched on here and found how to do a manual reset with the remote. What disc do i need to make my system function with the formatting process??

Hey White Knight what remote did you use to do that...I currently am using the CD-R55 and it would not let me enter the service code numbers!!

Will the CD-R55 work as well the newer model of the CD-R5? :?:
