Thanks Rob! Yeah it was a bit of a mission, but I got it! That kinda sucks that you have to put the dvd in everytime you're in a new area. I thought it would save into the headunit.

Okay... that makes sense. But when I do that, you can zoom it enough on the map?

Hey Guys, Okay so I got a N2 headunit and N3 brain. Hooked it up, did the bypass and everything is working fine. Installed the 60 DVD and it works fine. GPS is full signal and everything... but the minute I take the dvd out, the mapping says that it switches to mem mode and the gps no longer responds... what am I doing wrong??? Can someone help???? Okay guys.... this AVIC N2 has been a mission.... I finally have the brain for it and now it seems as if the flex cable is not working properly... How do I order the replacement flex cable?? I've got somebody that can replace it... Let me know guys!!! Thanks...

It was sent in and it was beyond repair... They are unable to sell me a separate one so they offered to rebuild my old one and that came up to about $500, so I figured I'ld look online and found you guys... If it was stolen, I would've snagged the brain too... lol

If that was the case, then I wouldn't be on here asking... besides it's not stolen the hideway caught a short and now it doesnt work, so please don't assume what you don't know... Anyways, for those who can help a brother out, let me know...
