Also, if i cannot transfer my contacts, and i do it manually, why cant i seem to attach peoples names to their number? it always defaults at "no name" and im not sure how to change it. It would be absurd if there were no option to do so, is there something i overlooked?

Has anyone been able to transfer contacts on a sony ericsson w760? (D3 with btb200) Everything else works great: battery indicator, signal strength, bt audio, etc. If i try contacts one at a time, or all at a time i get the same result- it says the device would not accept them. Its funny because i had the opposite problem with my LG VU, the only thing that worked were the contacts. Thanks.

I didnt blow a fuse. i used my fluke meter to test voltage. i get a 12v constant always. i tried messing with the car (locking, unlocking, alarm, starting it up etc) and i never lost the 12 volts. weird thing is that sometimes the radio starts up with only the button lights on, and no screen. if i reset the radio it fixes the screen. you would think at this point it is a defective radio. I sent it in (btw pioneer has awesome customer service. fast and very helpful) however they said everything works fine. they only tested the memory for 5 minutes. so they offered to test it for an hour wh

i dont understand what i could have done wrong. yellow power wire goes into the harness. connections are fine. what else could it be?

does yours remember your home setting? because mine forgets everything except where my house is!

When I use the d3 everything works fine, after the RAP goes off the radio cant remember anything. It loses navigation routes, past history, background settings etc. I figured that my car does not have constant power going into the radio, but the only thing it always remembers my home route address. I don't think that would happen if the power was being cut. why is this happening?

I am thinking of getting a RAZR 2 or a Tilt ( both AT&T) does any one know if these work

thank you very much! I am using the GMRC-03 and the guy at 6th ave said that its made for cars with out an amp but he said if the car had one it would make the volume sound really loud.

I just set up all of my components (bluetooth, ipod cable etc.) and the last thing i did was the harness. all connections are perfect and shrink wrapped. they are matched according to color and everything looks fine. the speakers have to be turned up to 40 Vol. in order to hear anything, regardless of the device selected. i suspect the problem stems from my car possibly having an amplified system. i do not know where this amplifier is, or if i even have one. i don't even know if that is the problem. i hooked up a direct wire from an old speaker to the D3 and sound was great. does any one have

D3 Question(s). Im sure this has been asked a bunch of times, however i have been finding nothing using the old fashioned search. Do i really need to connect the reverse and speed wires to the computer in my car? i dont know where they go in relation to the computer. will the d3 still work?. Sorry for extreme n00bism but where does the bypassed mute wire connect to? i have no devices that need to be muted, but do i have to ground that one (yellow black) just like i did the parking (green) wire? thanks.
