ok. so i just went outside and reset the unit and everything was working great. i drove around for 5 mins with a dvd playing and i was able to set destinations while driving. so then i took the dvd out and put the nav cd back in and the warning about the parking break came up and i couldnt set destinations. so i put the dvd back in and i couldnt watch it anymore... WTH?? apparently everythings set up right if it WAS working. what happened????

thats what i figured.. does anyone know what exactly wouldnt be done right that would cause this? i dont need the ebrake up, but as soon as i move i lose the ability to set destinations

hey guys. i had a d3 installed in my gti last week at tweeter and they told me they did the bypass. when i turn the car on, a message comes up about improper connection of the parking break... i dont need the parking break up to set destinations or watcha a movie, but as soon as i start moving i cant set destinations any more and the video goes off the screen for dvd's. i brought it back today and they checked it and said everything should be working good and they dont know whats wrong. the only suggestion they had was that maybe the new models have an extra sensor that prevent the bypass from
