It lists the "Tach" wire but Im not sure if that is the same thing as the Speedo wire. the site I linked to is a good resource, I found my VSS info on there bc I was freaking out that I couldnt find it. Keep searching on that site. FYI, a very simple google search brought that up so keep looking on google then come back here if you truly cant find it.

Hey I followed all the steps and it worked like MAGIC. My radio actually works now too. It;s important to reload BOTH the GPS program AND Application program. Feel free to PM me if anyone else is going through this and I will try to help you out.

Hey, I ran through the "factory reset" option and everything seemed to work ok. I decided to install the 05 software just to be safe for now. I restarted the system and everything *seemed* to work ok. When I hit the NAVI buttons, it would say "InAppropriate Disc" and then when I went back to the radio screen and hit "source off" I got a screen saying there was an error with the unit and I should turn the power on and off. I followed all the instructions to a T but what I'm going to do is try loading the 06 software on there, maybe that will help. Before i did the "hard reset" everything bt

you have to do factory reset of the unit, and go into the bios of the N3 to be able to downgrade the software, I did that for my N2 it worked well, with a minor dificulties, that I never experienced before. The idea is to replace the software of the system to the older one, u may use the your 06 Thanks very much for the response. I'm going to do a search of "Factory Reset N3". I want to bump up this topic. I am having the same trouble with my N3. At first, the POI and Phone Search functions were gray. Then, I was not able to calculate any routes. Then, I tried using the 05 discs (I have the 06 discs), then it said Inappropriate Disc. Now, even when I use the 06 disc again it says "In appropriate disc" only the radio works, navigation screen does not even come when I press the buttons on the unit. Will using the 07 discs fix this do you think?

can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make one like the harvard.jpg but for UC Berkeley? You can either use a UC berkeley logo or a Cal logo. lemme know if you need a source logo. the harvard one looks awesome. If you could do one with UC Berkeley's blue and gold colors it would be sick. thanks!

ive spent like 3 more hours on this, tried burning "DVD-Audio" cd's on Ulead but it limits me to 99 tracks on a DVD and it STILL says "Unreadable Disc" on the N3. Ive given up and am probably gonna stick with traditional CDRs for my jukebox mp3 cds. how about music video dvds? What media and program should I use?

actually, I am finding some stuff with regards to one of my questions: can you just load Mp3s on a dvd and play them? answer is no. Some feedback as to media type would still be appreciated though. Rohan

I just got my Avic N3 and I want to burn jukebox DVDs so i can burn multiple Mp3s for playback. Is this possible? I have tried the following formats but nothing seems to work.
