Not sure, but did you do a factory reset when you switched phones? not sure what the right procedure for changing phones should be... Did you unpair the iphone from the 8100 before you paired the Moto?

Goto http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/GPS-Navigation/AVIC-8100NEX then click on the 'FIRMWARE & SOFTWARE' menu item on the left side.
