I think he means he has an SD television tuner, and is wondering what he can do once all channels are broadcast in HD in 2009. I don't know if there is an HDTV tuner out.

I bought it and will give it a try in a month or two when I am home again.

How did you mod it to fit? My AVIC is just sitting in my dash unsecured. I padded the sides with foam to keep it in place, but a better solution would be nice.

Another question: Are the wiring harnesses interchangeable between the D2 and Z2? It would be really convenient if I could just unplug my D2 and plug in the Z2. Thanks

Is the 99-5805 intended for 1.5 DIN pockets? 03+ CV's do not have a true 2-DIN pocket

I am considering getting a Z2, but what are the navigation issues I read about with the Z2? The D3 is tempting because of all the good reviews of the iPod and Bluetooth interfaces but the lack of a second CD/DVD drive is a serious drawback. 2nd disc drive aside, what do I gain by going with the Z2 over the D3?

You will have to grind off the top and bottom lips of the radio pocket to fit a double DIN radio in your CV. There isn't really any way to secure the radio in the pocket either.
