I was trying to keep my entire original Hdd & tray intact and install a new Hdd & tray complete. Just trying to do all my reasearch while waiting for hdd & tray to arrive. Did more research looks like these are M3x.5x3.5 and not 6-32. I know they are flat heads, do they fit into a counter sink and need a tapered bottom or just thin flat heads.

I ordered all the parts to install an new hdd in my Z1 but Pioneer is BO on the screws and they could not tell me the screw size. The size is not shown in the service manual either. Could someone please tell me what size the screws are and I will order some from a fastner house.
