  1. Haha, ok maybe its just a defective cable. I guess its off to high quality walmart to get another one!
  2. So why would the 3.5mm plug I got from walmart work, but not the same 3.5mm plug I had to buy from a small electronics shop not work. Are the configurations on the plug ends different from each other? If so, then I understand. I had no concern over video or anything, I just wanted to play music. Thanks for all the replies!
  3. You are referring to the front AV jack, correct?
  4. Yeah, thats why I'm wondering whats up. It used to work, but now it wont.
  5. Thats the plug that goes in the back, isnt it?
  6. Oh I didnt know there was a special cable for the front input. I just used a generic 3.5 to 3.5 plug i got at an electronics store.
  7. I tried plugging in my mp3 player to the 3.5mm jack on the front, and no luck. I have the Avic D3 set to Aux2 Video, as its either video or off. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or havent done something. Please help!
  8. It can only be set to video on AV2, correct? If so, thats what its set on.
  9. sorry for the extreme late reply. anyhow, that worked well for a while, until my car was broken into. they tried to get the D3 out, with no luck. everything on the head unit seems to work fine, except for the AV2 input now. I cant get it to work at all. Can anyone tell me what the settings should be?
  10. So after searching, I'm still having trouble getting my MP3 player to work on my D3. I hooked the cable up correctly, and tried putting AV1 to EXT and/or Video. With Video, I just get a blank screen, no music. With EXT, it doesnt even allow me to push the AV1 button on the screen, its de-activated. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
