  1. I would like to know which wire on the D3 is the ground wire. It was installed by a local shop and now since I ripped apart my install and saw what a shabby job they did I am doing it all over. If someone could post a pic or describe the wire It would really help. What I am doing now is reinstalling everything with better materials and I am in the process of using thicker wire for the ground and doing the RCA ground I read so much about. Thx in advance!
  2. Well I never knew you could do this personally, but I assume my installer was going to go the RCA route. I feel kinda retarded b/c I never knew this and I know a little something about Car Audio. Thx for the help though!
  3. Thanks, do you get a cleaner sound by doing this?
  4. Plain and simple, Can you bypass the D3 internal Amp? I have been searching threads for a while and came up with nothing. Any help is appreciated.
  5. Yeah I have aftermarket amps running my setup, JL slash series 4 channel 300/4. I remember someone saying that you can not bypass or turn off the internal amp on the head unit, could this be causing the problem?
  6. I actually had it sounding good, but that white noise is pissing me off when I use it. I set mine up without it as well, but Im just wondering what is causing that noise. Thx for the Reply, anyone else have this problem?
  7. I search for a while and didnt find an answer to a probelm I am having with the different Sound Stages. I have noticed that when I activate this feature, lets say Studio, it seems that the unit cranks the gains up or something. Dont get me wrong it sounds great, but when the volume is past a certain point and I skip or pause a song I can hear the white noise in the background. I know of the Ipod fix and all that, does anyone have a fix or reccomendation for this problem? Thx in advance.
