I think I am just going to go with the Al & Eds...the discount is applied immediately and I don't have to question whether or not I will get the $200 8 weeks later. $529 shipped for the D3 and $699 shipped for the D3X is a pretty damn good deal...can't really beat it.

That is really weird because I just got off the phone with the rebate center and this is what they told me: "We were told to DENY ALL ONLINE REBATES" I then proceeded to tell her that no where does it state in the rebate that online is prohibited, but she continued to tell me that online is suppose to be denied. She said that I can send in a rebate and try and see if it gets through, but it would most likely be denied because that is what Pioneer has told her to do. EDIT: Just got off the phone with Pioneer. They said that you have to purchase the D3 through an authorized CAR/AUDIO

So does it matter if a vendor price matches another vendor? Will the rebate still apply?
