Quick question: Can I install this image on a fresh hard drive? I have a few spare drives sitting around, and I'd rather not pay for the FF Repair Station software to unlock the drive in my Z2. It'd be much easier to install the Z3 image on one of those spares. It that possible? Would I need to lock the drive with a new password in order to use it in the system, or can it function unlocked. Yeah, I made sure to finalize and choose mode 1, per the Pioneer instructions. I don't know what the hell happened, but after letting the car sit for about two or three hours, I came back and turned it on with the second CD that I burned and it worked on the first try. I fix was applied and my two wire bypass still works flawlessly.

I've had my AVIC Z2 installed for about three weeks now, the last two of which have been with Hyperite's two wire bypass. Until this morning, everything has worked flawlessly. When the Z2 came on, it was stuck on the Pioneer screen for several minutes, though the XM was playing and I could control the volume. I pressed the reset button after about 10 minutes, and it came back up the same way. The CD would play but it never got past the Pioneer screen.
