  1. I've also read that if you use a dock inline with the CD-I200, you can view videos. The problem is the authentication wire that the new update is looking for. The CD-I200 doesn't have it, but the dock does.
  2. The GPS is mounted under the clock pod (dead center on the dash). Every other Impreza owner has done it that way and it worked. The car was in the garage and then in the driveway. I did however reset the unit and go for a drive and about 5 miles later, it picked up near where I was. It's still a little off, but it's ok. I think that's how it's supposed to be. Not even a quarter of a block. I'm sure there is something to fix that, but I haven't messed with that much. Now I need to figure out why it doesn't seem to be very loud. With it turned all the way up, it's not unbearable a
  3. It's plugged in all the way. Oh the status screen, it does show some signal - not much, but some.
  4. I forgot to add, if anyone is local and wants to help that'd be great too.
  5. Vehicle: 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Unit: Avic-D3 I installed the unit this evening, but couldn't get the GPS unit to recognize my location. It displays NY, but I'm located in south east VA. IIRC, all the units I've seen in the store display NY, so it must be some sort of demo mode. I did see that there is a shop mode, but from what I can tell, we weren't in that mode. The car had the factory harness hacked up, but I'm pretty sure that everything was hooked up properly. I did get sound from the FM tuner. I did do the hack for playing a dvd as well. Any help would be greatly
