For an $800+ headunit, there are a lot of annoying misses here.
First, I have the same iPod/30 pin connector problem, -i.e returning to the iPod audio source causes the iPod to reset and lose it's place and not continue what it previously was set to do.. It is incredibly inconvenient and inexcusable that it's not fixed or that the tech support doesn't see this problem. I listen to a lot of books on mp3s...this is a showstopper problem.
