  1. Problem solved! It was the wiring harness. I had a new wiring harness laying around and decided to use it and come to find out it's no good. I disconnected my old one and everything functioned just fine. Thanks for all of your help. Great site
  2. Thanks for the replies. I have checked all of the connections and they are connected properly. The amp remote is connected properly and it does turn the amp on, but I don't get any sound. The mute wire is not connected to anything. The unit functions properly in all other areas (NAVI, DVD, IPOD, CD etc.) except when I connect the amp.
  3. I can get my AVIC-D3 to play through the speaker outs, but when I connect my amp (DLS A7) and use the RCA's I can't get any sound. The amp powers on, but there is no sound from the speakers. When I connect my old radio (Alpine CDA-9857) I get sound from the speakers. I've checked all of the connections, searched this forum, and read lots of post. Still to no avail I can't get my brand new AVIC-D3 to play sound through my amp. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Schoolyard
