So if i just want to use the regular stuff (ie: satnav/video playback) i only need to tap the VSS wire + ground hacks and i'm good to go? only need for the reverse cable for backup camera? just want to confirm... I'll just electrical tape all the rca wires then

I know where the VSS cable is... so here are my questions 1) do i need to use the Backup Wire if I don't have a camera but have the video playback hack? 2) if I do need to use it, where is the location and what am i looking for? also 3) all those RCA connectors on the other harness (video & camera in/video & audio out, etc.), can i cut those off if i'm not planning on using them or will that cause problems? Only thing I'm using off that hardness is the "mute" wire for the hack. Thanks for the help
