I have 2 versions of the iPhone (2G and 3G) and have had the same problem trying to run video on the D3 with both of them. The video displays fine till the airplane mode warning pops up and then video swithes from D3 screen to the iPhone screen but the sound still works through the D3. Any sugestions?

It should be a simple molex pin. The pins are very cheap but the crimpers cost a little bit. You can buy them at radio shack. Any local installer should have this, if they wouldn't mind helping you out. But I just realized this post is 3 months old and surely you have it fixed by now.

Yea I found it after my post. I just didn't think it would be under the NAV menu. Thanks for the reply though.

Great forum guys! I have been able to do everything I needed on my D3 by searching this forum from BT capabilities , loading backgrounds, bypass, ect., until now. I have the bose harness for use with my onstar and the chimes everytime I touch a button are driving me nuts. Please tell me there is a way to turn these off because they are way to loud and I can't seem to find the option to turn them off. Surely this has been answered but, I searched chimes with little luck.

Just found what I was looking for on the search. The search option isn't fun to work with on this site but, I was still eventually able to locate what I was looking for.

Just got the D3 bundle this week. Waiting on my XM hardware before I begin my install. Going to be installing in my '05 Avalanche with onstar and bose. Please chime in if think I may run into some problems. I test fitted my ipod adapter cable to my iphone and the phone displayed accessory not supported. Will this be an issue after I connect it to my D3?
