Yeah it was already on. Very weird problem. I think the problem is the ipod itself because I tried my friends nano on my d3 and it worked just fine. We tried the ipod in his car with a regular pioneer deck and it wouldn't connect. So I just purchased a ipod classic 80g. Will I have any issues with this new ipod playing MUSIC?? I don't care about the video functionality. I just want music.

I now have firmware version 1.2.1 on my gen 5 ipod. Still does not work. Can someone please respond to this thread

I just got an ipod video 5th gen I guess. Its the 60gig version. Firmware is version 1.2.3 When I plug this into my AVIC D3 with the cable cd-i200 I get the error 11 code. I have the d3 set to charge the ipod and the ipod shows that it is charging. However! I can get sound coming out if I push the video button. However I have no control from the D3 only the ipod. Does anyone have a fix for this? I've tried doing some research on this and I haven't seen anyone say they can get sound using the video button. Please help!
