Tru but then u can never update your i pod but whatever I have an 80 gig so I was jus tellin people wat we have been doin at work to help em out.

The new Ipod classics have Noise through Charging On D3s.

Noise can be solved by turnning the charge feature off on the d3.There is no other way..So dont exhaust your methods

I would run the new I pod cable where it is close to u because u will not be able to control it through the radio and this is jus to watch movies so u start it and leave it alone.

And when your done switch back to pioneer i pod cable for music and for charging.

OR JUS DONT BUY A CLASSIC .......

they make a power adater for about 30 dallors and u will need the 50 dallor rca to i pod jack.you will not be able to use controlls on head unit though

Had the problem at workk today lucky for u sucks for me though took me an hour to get it to work.

Ok here goes hold the top button and bottoum button down until u see the i pod logo which means it has been turned off take about 20 sec.then delete paired devices on both sources radio and phone repair on done.

Dont worry about it then.I work at a store that does alot of volume in nav and its been a common problem with some but not all.I have had mine for about a year also and my d3 is fine I was jus giving u the heads up on it if it does tart to happen then u have an idea of what it is thats all.

No that doesnet matter thats not exaclty the best pace cause its known for gettin wet in some casrs but if its dry than it should be fine.Did u also delte all paried devices with the pioneer after u did the hard reset.If not try that.U can also try to have the head unit look for bt devices.

So basically if I want to have my steering wheel control I need to buy the PESWICAN and that will fit with my Metra harness.

Yea but u can also buy a piece from metra thats the same thing as a piswican---I think its a ASWIPS.

yea if you have an i pod screw a cd u can always rip those to your i pod anyway and yea it will take awhile to get your unit back....I would try reset if not dont bother....

does your i phone have a discoverable mode that may need to be turned on to always.Did you also register it...

I know u saved money which is good but when it has a problem like lets say getting stuck in new yourk or not switching from your ipod to map or not goin out of map at all.U can bring it somewhere and say fix it.All in all good job though...

Dark Green wire at the the radio harness in the C2 connector should be your speed sense wire.If not use speed pulse generator from rostra or wherever u can find one.I can get the part number from work if u need it.

noise filters are used for noise goin through a dc power source

Ground loop isolators are used to remove the DC circuit path from the audio shield ground circuit.

css12 or css5 may work its a passive noise filter from pac.I mean there are ton of others I would jus tell them to try to make it go away.

Mybe try to put the noise filter at the bose amp which is in the center console..

U dont need a kit like misfitt said u have some cutting to do.O and the gap your gonna have on the sides u can use abs and bondo it in or jus do a filler with abs if u havent used bondo before and then paint and all done..

1. Put the key in the ignition.

2. Turn the key to "ON".

3. As soon as the airbag light (in the instrument cluster) turns off (after about 8 seconds), turn the ignition off.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for a total of 3 times, but don't remove the key from the ignition.

5. Turn the key to the on position - the airbag light blinks a code.

6. Turn the key off and then start the truck.

sometimes the illumanation does not work on tose adapter and u may have to use a relay to make it work rigt...

i have had that issue on some chevys u have to go 30 or below for it to go into 3d hybrid.Now jus cause it makes the noise doesnt mean u always have the right wire.U may need a wheel speed sensor.What make and year is your car....

If u went to a good shop they would have tested it on the show room floor and then u could have made your mind up then and there.Now with that bieng said I do have the same problem my girls razor phone wont work with voice commands but my buddies razor will the problem is u may think u have the same phone but u dont cause of different service providers.

If u want voice commands buy a parrot 3200 they always work with voice commands they are also providing bt for pioneer this year so there very well may be a fix to your problem....

Metra GMOS-04 Interface tose things can be bad tell them to try a GMAH24B Peripheral its a better piece I think.That car wouldnt have left a real shop with noise.I understand that u have to make money but what they should have done is try whatever filter they wanted to try and if it worked then charge u for it not let it leave with a problem and a mad customer.

Sorry man not all of us are idots that do this for a living.....Are the sony tvs running any kind of audio like headphones or do u have a audio feed goin in and out of the main vedio source.If so it would be the sony flip down probably....Noise filter and that should do it....

Usually a SWI-PS wont get laggy as long as u programed it with the car running...If u didnt u may want to

Check your i phone setting for bt....

If u have over 200 numbers it will cause that.I have also had to do a hard reset on phones.Thas where u take out your sim card if u have one and the battery .Delete paired device on phone and radio.And then repair.

Im not saying thats the problem but its some problems I have ran into with cars I have worked on...

I had the same problem with a customers car But we coulndt fix it cause it wasnt bought at our store but I did suggest to do what i have been doin for awhile and that is get nero and burn your music to a dvd mp3 disc.He came back and told me he no longer had a use for his cdrs anymore.O and if u do decide to burn a dvd for pioneer they must be dvd+R or it will skip if u use dvd-r.

I know this doesnt help your problem but kinda a soultion 2 it.U can add about 2000 songs....
