There's always that. However, the more I search and don't find it listed, the more convinced I am that it's just the standard SBC. Kinda disappointing. Has anyone found anything else?

Been thinking about getting the AVH-2300NEX. Does anyone know what specific bluetooth codecs this unit supports? My phone has Android 8.1 which now includes support for AAC, LDAC, Qualcom aptX, and Qualcom aptX HD. Anything would be better than the standard SBC codec, but pioneer (like many manufacturers) does not disclose what bluetooth codec is used for the AVH-2300NEX. If not this one, is there any pioneer unit that supports newer bluetooth codecs?
