Hello. I just had a AVIC W8400nex installed. The song / artist alert is my favorite feature.
Problem: When a song or artists alert pops up, it only stays on the screen for 3 seconds and there is no beep to alert me. My previous system stayed on the screen for at least 30 senconds which allowed more response time. This feature is useless the way it is now because I don’t stare at my screen when I’m driving.
